Test Analyst

£35,000 – £38,000 – Hybrid (Mainly remote, occasional travel to the Birmingham office)

An exciting opportunity to join a passionate and close-knit team. Applause IT are recruiting for an experienced Test Analyst to join a well-established and committed business who are commitment to delivering high quality services to global clients and supporting businesses with technology.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your skillset as a Test Analyst working across both Manual and Automation testing. You will be working closely with developers and stakeholders, working across deadlines and deliverables, ensuring that there are no defects. Additionally, the role will involve regression testing, recording test cases and writing effective test plans to define scope, approach and resources.

The ideal skill set of the Test Analyst:

Strong experience working as a Manual and Automation Tester, working on across Mobile and Web-based applications.
Experience writing test documents (test plans and summary reports).
A high level of understanding documentation, including Business Requirement Documents and Design documents, recognising what needs to be tested.
Experience of test management tools to record test cases, test steps, and defects using the test cycles.
Familiar working with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Strong communication, both verbal and written.
