My client are currently going through a multi-year transformation program and are seeking a Technical Architect to be responsible for overseeing infrastructure and cloud environments within their organization.

REMOTE BASED ROLE

OUTSIDE OF IR35

INITIAL CONTRACT 6 MONTHS – Projected to run for 18 months

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing complex IT environments, with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure. The Technical Architect will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of their systems as they continue to grow and innovate.

My client require someone who has a good balance on networking and connecting warehouse devices etc. such as 3d image scanners with master data management system and networking.

Technical Architecture:

* Partner with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient technical architectures.

* Document environments, cloud infrastructure, and their interdependencies.

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing infrastructure and recommend improvements to enhance performance and reliability.

Cloud Management:

* Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.

* Implement and enforce security best practices for cloud environments.

Environment Design and Planning:

* Lead the design and planning of development, testing, staging, and production environments.

* Work with project teams to define environment requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

* Implement best practices for environment design to support efficient development and testing processes.

Key Skills, Experiences & Competencies

* Strong knowledge of cloud platforms preferably Azure.

* Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Git for Enterprise, Azure Devops).

* Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

* Experience with SAP is a bonus.

* Experience of working with SaaS solutions and integrations ideally ERP/WMS

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

* Proven ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

* Strong troubleshooting skills in a cloud and solutions architecture context
