Technical Account Manager

Overview:
Our client, a highly reputable and leading technology provider is hiring a Technical Account Manager who has previously worked within an MSP / Consultancy environment. The chosen TAM will have experience engaging with enterprise clients, managing client contracts and upselling a broad range of technical products within a proven technology focussed corporation.

Our client is offering a basic salary up to £60,000 circa plus commission to be based in Kent two times per week with occasional travel to client sites around the South East.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue growth within the financial sector.
Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and influencers in financial institutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, understanding their business needs, and providing tailored solutions and recommendations.
Utilise networking knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for implementing and optimizing networking solutions for clients.
Collaborate closely with partners sales team to enable them to generate new leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into long-term clients.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitors' activities to identify emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Skills & Experience:

Strong experience as an Technical Account Manager working within an MSP or Consultancy environment is a must have.
Good understanding of financial/Insurance industry dynamics, regulations, and challenges faced by financial institutions.
Knowledge and understanding of networking principles, protocols, and technologies, including LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and security.
Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and managing key accounts. 
Two stage interview process, MS teams and then a face to face onsite.
