Tech Lead – Java & React – SC

Multi-year programme

SR2 is looking for a number of Tech Leads for a new Policing technology transformation programme in London. These contracts are likely to extend multiple times, so this contract could last for multiple years for the right candidate. This role will require active security clearance (SC), and it is advantageous if you already have NPPV, if not, you must be willing to go through NPPV, as the client can put you through this.

The roles will work with a consultancy delivering the work, and working closely with architecture, engineering, and QAT. We are looking for strong Tech Leads who are comfrotable supporting from an architecture standpoint, whilst also getting hands-on with the code and engineering.

The tech estate is AWS based, with the back end being Java Sprint Boot, and the front end being ReactJS.

Experience required:

Active SC clearance
NPPV clearance is advantageous
Strong client facing tech lead experience working in government technology transformation programmes
Java
AWS
React
Comfortable dealing at an architectural and hands-on levelOverview:

5 day a week contract
2-3 days a week onsite in London
Rate tbc
Outside/Inside IR35
Start date – early May
