Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join their team based in Newmarket.

As a Systems Administrator you will have responsibility over the administration, maintenance, and monitoring of remote servers.

Required Experience/Skills

• Linux Server Administration and CLI
• Database configuration and Administration – MySQL
• Web Server configuration – Apache
• SMTP/IMAP/POP3 Server administration – Postfix/Dovecot
• Experience in an ISP/ESP Data environment
• Experience with servers in High Availability configuration.

Desirable Experience/Skills

• Scripting experience – BASH, Perl
• Load Balance – Haproxy
• Configuration management and deployment – Git, Puppet
• Visualisation/Containerisation – LXC, VirtualBox
• Windows Servers or AD

Any other beneficial skills/Experience

• Programming experience
• CISCO Switches
• Blind9
• Firewalls
• GlusterFS
• Zabbix
• Samba
• ElasticSearch
• Redis
• RabbitMQ
• Cloud Computing
