Software Development Manager – Contract Vacancy

IR35 Status: Outside

Rate: £300 – £400 p/d

Working Location: Remote

Contract Length: 3 Months (Potential for extension)

Start Date: July

My client has a requirement for a Software Development Manager on a 3-month contract. The client is a SaaS provider who secures, optimize and manages software.

They require a Software Development Manager to join the team due to their current Software Development Manager leaving.

You will be responsible for the overall software team, the majority of this is based offshore across India, Holland, and Lithuania. This team is a mix of permanent and contract Developers.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage SaaS implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including development, sales, and customer support to ensure project success.
Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies to manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Employ Trello for project tracking, issue management, and reporting.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Ensure adherence to company project management standards and best practices.
Facilitate project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.Technical Skills
