Hybrid | Permanent | £40,000

We’re recruiting a Software Developer to work on a suite of internal business applications. It’s a hands-on role covering new development, ongoing improvements, bug fixes and integrations with third-party services.

The award-winning business is investing in its systems and you’ll be part of ongoing development and improvement work.

What you’ll be doing:

* Designing, building, testing, deploying and documenting solutions in .NET

* Maintaining and improving existing applications

* Building and consuming APIs / web services, including third-party integrations

* Working with SQL Server (schema changes, stored procedures/queries, data fixes as needed)

* Writing OO code and contributing to shared standards

* Translating requirements into deliverable technical work and keeping progress visible to stakeholders

What you’ll need:

* 3+ years commercial experience with C#, .NET (ASP.NET / .NET Core)

* Strong working knowledge of SQL Server

* Solid front-end fundamentals: React, JavaScript

* Experience working with APIs and web services

* Confident working with Visual Studio

* Practical delivery experience using Azure DevOps or Jira (or similar)
