We’re growing future leaders

Peregrine Future Talent programmes are designed to help you gain professional experience and develop your skillset. We’ll challenge you to think differently, solve problems with creativity and to push yourself while expanding your horizons. 

Initial Training

You’ll kick-off the programme with up to ten weeks of practical based training led by industry experts and delivered in real time from our virtual training academy. The training focuses on the newest and most relevant industry methodologies to prepare you for a career pathway within software development.

Employment

Upon successful completion of the training, you will have the opportunity to become employed by Peregrine in a placement of up to two years supporting one of our clients around the UK. You’ll have the opportunity to work on and make meaningful contributions to a range of exciting and diverse projects. After two years, you can transition to a career with Peregrine Specialist Talent, or you may be offered a role directly with your placement client.

Continuous professional development

As well as the ongoing support of Peregrine professionals whilst you work, your placement includes a development programme of core competencies. You will have access to learning resources and following completion of your core competencies you may have the opportunity to study towards certifications from professional bodies such as BCS, ISTQB, Oracle, Microsoft, Google and Amazon.

What we are looking for 

You’re someone who likes the challenge of learning something new every day. And when it comes to questions, your hand is in the air before anyone else’s. You also genuinely enjoy working in a team, sharing goals, and celebrating achievements. You're as confident sharing your ideas as you are engaged when others do the same. 

You will also need:

A minimum of 2:2 in an undergraduate degree, ideally Computer Science or STEM related, or equivalent experience.Some object orientated programming skills in either C#, C++, or Java 
A passion for learning, technology and problem solving
A proactive mindset
Following training, able to relocate if required for your assignment (relocation support is provided)
Able to commit to the initial home-based training before employment and attend the online classes in real-time.
Available to start training in October 2024.
