Software Automation Tester, €65-70k per annum, Galway

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks to support functional, regression, and performance testing.
Design and implement automated test scripts using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar technologies.
Collaborate with software developers and quality assurance engineers to identify test scenarios, define test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Conduct test execution, analyze test results, and report defects with accuracy and efficiency.
Continuously optimize test automation processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and best practices in test automation and quality assurance.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience in test automation using scripting languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with a proactive mindset.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
