Avanti Recruitment is currently partnered with one of the UK’s leading privately owned logistics providers. They are powered by industry–leading technology by importing/exporting air, ocean, and road freight forwarding, supply chain management, and logistics.

The company is based in Birmingham and you will be working fully on-site.

We are searching for a Service Desk Analyst to join their team as they continue to grow. Within this role, you will be providing 1st and 2nd line support within the Service/Helpdesk team to all IT, Communications, and Freight-related systems.

You will be contributing to delivering exceptional customer service, offering support to handle a wide range of service requests from technical issues that impact the entire organization. You will be working within a dynamic team and they provide ongoing training to best support your progression within the company.

You will have the opportunity to get involved in implementing projects for new software and hardware technologies occasionally.

Required skills:

Windows 10, Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016 & 2019

Microsoft Active Directory Administration

Microsoft Office 2016 & 2019 and Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook client setup and troubleshooting)

TCP/IP Networking

DHCP, DNS and VPNs/Firewalls (ideally Sophos)

Desirable skills:

PowerShell

MS SQL/SSIS/SSRS

Application including MS Visio, MS Project, and Altova Mapforce.
