Be-IT is delighted to be partnering with a new client in the Fintech space, specifically within wealth management.  We are seeking a talented Back End Developer to join their talented team of Engineers based in Edinburgh.

The Ideal candidate will have experience using their modern tech stack – Node.js, Typescript, AWS & MongoDB, will come from a cross-functional team working in a product environment.  Domain knowledge surrounding fintech and wealth management would be an added bonus.

Key Skills:

Advanced proficiency in backend development, with comprehensive knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js.

Skilled in full stack development, with experience in frameworks like Next.js, React, and .NET.

Proficient in utilizing Amazon Web Services, including Lambda, SQS, and SNS, with a solid understanding of Serverless environments.

Experienced in working within complex event-driven messaging architectures.

Strong background in implementing quality controls through the testing pyramid.

Dedicated to writing thorough unit tests, with a focus on ensuring robust and reliable code.

Familiar with MongoDB.

Experienced in continuous integration practices.

Adept at working in a collaborative, rigorous product refinement process within a strong Agile Scrum environment
