Senior Security Systems Designer

Location: Derby (4 days on-site) Clearance: SC Clearance Required (Held or Eligible)

As a Senior Designer, you will be the Design Authority for integrated solutions. You won't just be designing CCTV; you will be architecting complex, resilient systems including electric fences, acoustic detection, HVM (Hostile Vehicle Mitigation), and blast-resistant doors.

What You’ll Do

Technical Ownership: Lead end-to-end design (HLD/LLD) for high-security sites, ensuring every solution is robust and compliant.

Integrated Innovation: Integrate diverse systems from biometric access control to large-scale network security deployments.

Client Advisory: Act as the technical voice of the business in high-level design workshops alongside global consultancy partners.

Leadership: Mentor a small, dedicated team of engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.

What We’re Looking For

Specialist Design Background: Proven experience in security systems design (not just installation) within regulated or defence-adjacent environments.

*

Tech Stack: Familiarity with Mercury door controllers and Axis or Bosch surveillance platforms.

*

Commitment: A 4-day on-site presence initially to ensure close collaboration with the delivery teams
