Senior Project Manager – SAP Specialist

1 Year Contract

Project Overview:

My client is establishing a new greenfield concentrate manufacturing plant to support an existing plant base. This new facility will require comprehensive SAP integration to handle ordering, receipt, manufacturing, sales, stock transfer, and financial postings. The project will go live in early January 2026 with SAP implementation complete by September 2025. The role demands an SAP expert who can gather business requirements, translate them into SAP functionalities, and execute the project plan.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the SAP integration for the new manufacturing plant
Gather and analyze business requirements related to manufacturing, inventory management, sales, and financial processes
Translate business requirements into SAP functionalities and specifications
Quantify and identify the necessary SAP resources and modules needed for the project
Develop and manage a detailed project plan for SAP implementation
Collaborate with internal and external teams for implementation
Regularly report project progress and milestones to stakeholders
Prepare for the plant's go-live by January 2026, ensuring SAP systems are fully operational by September 2025Qualifications:

Proven experience in SAP implementation within a manufacturing environment
Expertise in SAP modules related to ordering, receipt, manufacturing, sales, and inventory management
Strong understanding of financial processes and tax regulations, especially stock transfer and ledger postings
Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into SAP technical specifications
Experience in project management, including developing and executing project plans
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of working with both internal teams and external consultants
Familiarity with remote working tools and methodologiesThis is an immediate interview with an immediate start where applicable.
