Blair West is supporting a successful digital agency based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in its search for a Senior Project Manager to grow capability within the team. Building exceptional digital experiences for their clients, their customers, and users, they take pride in exceeding client expectations.

The opportunity:

* Take the lead on planning, managing and executing multiple digital projects, including managing the wider project team and budget.

* Using your natural detail orientation, you will thrive on keeping those plates spinning.

* Motivate multi-disciplinary teams to hit deadlines, overcome challenges, simplify complexity, and deliver transformative digital solutions.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

* A solid understanding of software development life cycle models.

* Expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices (and the expertise to pragmatically blend techniques to deliver the best result).

* Demonstratable success implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies.

* Scrum certifications (or be working towards them) would be a bonus.

* Skills in managing multiple projects simultaneously.

* Experience overseeing multi-disciplinary project teams including UX, Creative, Developers and QA.

* Budgetary control and stakeholder reporting.

* The ability to engender trust and build confidence with clients, meet them face-to-face or remotely, and drive productive engagements by understanding their business and end-users' needs.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the interpersonal skills to interact with individuals at all levels.

* Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills and the ability to elegantly navigate competing client demands.
