Job Title: Senior IT Systems Administrator
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Location: Barnsley
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role

Chase Taylor Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company within the window and door sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing, fast-paced business where you will play a key role within a small but dynamic IT team. The position offers a high level of variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute to ongoing system improvements and projects across multiple sites.

Working Hours

*

37.5 hours per week

*

Monday to Friday

*

08:00 – 16:30

*

Regular travel to other sites required

Key Responsibilities

Operational Support

*

Provide support via an internal ticketing system

*

Troubleshoot day-to-day IT issues within a production environment

*

Support PCs, peripherals, barcode scanners, and display systems

Infrastructure Support

*

Maintain and support server and network systems

*

Work alongside an external MSP at 2nd/3rd line support level

Projects & Systems Development

*

Assist in the implementation of new systems and services

*

Support ongoing improvements to existing IT infrastructure

*

Contribute to project delivery across the business

Systems Configuration

*

Configure, administer, and maintain bespoke MRP and manufacturing systems

Person Specification

*

Experience across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line IT support

*

Previous experience supporting MRP systems within a manufacturing environment

*

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach

*

Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new systems

*

Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements)
