Senior IT Project Manager

South West London

Hybrid working – 80% home/ 20% on site.

Up to £55,000 plus excellent holiday and pension benefits

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Manager, with a focus on delivering IT Projects , to join our clients growing PMO based in South West London. Boasting growth across various areas of the organisation, this is an exciting role for an experienced IT Project Manager with strong experience managing business change projects and strategy to join a busy team who are embarking on a key strategy piece to move through the next two years.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with various stakeholders across the business and manage project lifecycle end to end alongside the rest of the PMO

Core responsibilities:

* Work closely with the Portfolio and contribute to the operational management and strategic direction of organisation services, including the adherence and input into the development of policies, risk frameworks, IT general controls, compliance matters and key audits.

* Accountable for the delivery of projects within scope, time, quality and cost with specific responsibility for project budgets using industry best practice methodologies to deliver project goals and value for money across IT Services and the organisation.

* Reviewing progress and making recommendations to Project Boards; providing Project Boards with monthly cost and progress summaries, as appropriate.

* Implement project management processes to ensure effective delivery of projects.

* Track key project milestones and create project plans.

* Work closely with other members of the PMO to deliver projects across the organisation.

* Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery

Skills and experience:

* Experience managing IT Projects (Infrastructure, ERP, CRM, Digital)

* Excellent stakeholder engagement experience

* AGILE / Waterfall experience

* Experience managing multiple projects at any one time.

* Strong project tracking and reporting experience

* Experience and knowledge within technical evaluation

* Project management qualification, e.g PRINCE2, AGILE, PMP etc

* Experience managing projects within the Higher Education arena advantageous
