Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Hybrid – London
6 Month Contract
Day rate to be confirmed – Inside IR35

Are you an infrastructure delivery professional who keeps a busy pipeline of BAU change realistic, governed and on budget? We're recruiting a contract Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager for the technology function of a leading global financial services organisation in London.

You'll own a portfolio of business as usual change and service improvement projects across infrastructure and service management, working with product owners and service owners to plan, govern and deliver work that improves service quality, cuts cost and reduces risk.

It suits a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager who is as comfortable with business cases, budgets and executive reporting as with delivery itself. There are no direct reports, but you'll have real ownership of how the pipeline is planned and run.

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering a portfolio of BAU change and service improvement projects across infrastructure and service operations, on time and within budget
Scoping requirements with architects and product owners, then baselining plans, milestones and timelines
Building business cases, forecasting budgets and confirming delivery capacity with service owners before work goes live
Running governance, including RAID logs, MI and dashboards, with clear executive updates that never go stale
Coordinating supplier onboarding, third party risk, data protection and contract, NDA and SOW management with procurement and legal
Signing off project deliverables and closing projects cleanly, with lessons learned and open items resolvedWhat You'll Bring

Proven delivery of infrastructure or service operations change and technology lifecycle projects within time and budget
Full project lifecycle experience, waterfall and agile, with strong governance, budgeting and RAID management
Confident stakeholder management, including reporting to senior management and executive forums
Working knowledge of key controls such as SOX, third party risk, operational resilience and data protection
Degree level education and a recognised project qualification such as PRINCE2, APMP, PMI or Six SigmaDesirable: Experience delivering infrastructure or service operations change in a global bank or financial institution, MS Project, Jira, Confluence
