Business Analyst.

The Role

We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our clients IT department. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise and business acumen to analyse requirements, design effective systems, and drive successful implementations.

Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into actionable IT requirements.
Design, develop, and implement complex packaged and bespoke business system solutions using Microsoft .Net and C# and other niche technologies as required.
Integrate new systems with existing ERP, retail, and manufacturing systems (experience with Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations a plus).
Lead and participate in cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful project delivery.
Document technical specifications and processes for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Stay current with the latest advancements in .Net, C#, and relevant business systems technologies.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing systems and optimize workflows through automation.
Ensure adherence to best practices in system design, development, and implementation.
Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
Experienced in all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, architecture/design, implementation, testing, integration, maintenance, and support.
A track record of success in designing, developing, and implementing business system solutions.
Strong technical skills in Microsoft .Net and C# or other comparable development environments.
Familiarity with database management systems, such as SQL Server, and ability to write SQL queries for data analysis.
Experience of systems interfacing and API use.
Familiarity with technologies such as NodeJs, JavaScript, HTML, SQL + T-SQL + PL-SQL
An understanding of API development including technologies such as open YAML, JSON
An understanding of Android development using tools such as Dart (Flutter), Java, Kotlin, PowerApps
Familiarity with version control GIT
Strong debugging Skills
In-depth understanding of business processes and systems, including ERP, retail, and manufacturing systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable leading others in project settings.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AX or 365 Finance and Operations a plus.
