Azure DevOps Engineer

3 months initially (2 year programme)

£(Apply online only) Per Day (Inside IR35 via Umbrella)

Role can be performed remotely (Candidates must be UK based)

We are looking for a UK based Lead/Senior DevOps Engineer, to support our client with the modernisation of one of their applications. This will be completely in Azure; at the moment we are helping the client to stand up infrastructure in Azure, so the app can be moved from SPC to Azure. The client then has a 2-year modernization program plan, to completely re-write and modernize the app.

We are looking for a senior engineer to code/configure/orchestrate the following:

ADO Pipelines – so we can deploy artefacts into Azure
Azure configuration
Subscriptions
AKS
PostgreSQL
Networking
firewall rules
VPNs
PrivateLinks
Monitoring
cost
networking
health
AKS
configuration of the cluster
deployment modes
failovers
DNSes
multi-availability
multi-region
For the move, the client is transitioning to a Kubernetes solution, and there will be some IBM MQ and Oracle OCI involved too.
