Senior Automation Engineer Contract Dublin 6-18 Months. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of talented and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join them on a contract basis.

My client is looking for a highly motivated and proactive Senior Quality Engineer to support the delivery of complex, mission‑critical software solutions across the my clients Payments application platform, spanning API, Web, Mobile, Batch, and SWIFT channels. You will be expected to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test suites across Smoke, Integration, System, UAT, and Regression testing. You will build, execute, and maintain UI and API automation using Java, Selenium, andREST Assured. You will lead and participate in test planning, test case reviews, and collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria.

Successful candidates will 8+ years of commerical experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering,5+ years of hands‑on experience in automation test design, development, execution, and maintenance. You will have 3+ years hands‑on experience with Selenium. Candidates will have Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and Git‑based version control (GitHub / BitBucket). Experience in API testing using REST Assured or similar tools, and Hands‑on experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
