Day Rate – £(Apply online only) Per Day

Role Overview:

You will join one of the world's largest media streaming platforms. Your role will be to undertake:

Real-Time Data Processing: Utilize your expertise in Scala (Typelevel stack), Kafka, Cassandra, Kubernetes, GCP, and AWS to develop RESTful microservices for real-time data processing.
Akka HTTP and Akka Streams: Leverage your proficiency in Akka HTTP and Akka Streams to support existing services effectively.
Machine Learning Integration: Explore opportunities to evolve our personalization services with machine learning techniques.
Agile Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional agile team, enjoying the freedom to self-organize and refine processes for continuous integration and delivery.
Best Practices Advocacy: Champion best practices like Pair Programming and TDD to ensure the development of clean, resilient code at scale.
Mentorship and Growth: Provide coaching and feedback to fellow developers, contributing to the growth of our engineering culture, which emphasizes DevOps and GitOps principles.
