QA Engineer

Full Remote

We are working with a client who's vision is to solve the world's edge data problems. Their software helps customers store, protect, and use data where and when it is most valuable.

They've been around long enough to have proven products and thousands of customers, yet we're small and nimble enough to have new tricks up our sleeves.

They are super-focused on the fastest growing segment of the market and seen as a visionary in the industry.

Key coding skills:

Python / pytest
SeleniumMust Haves (Core requirements):

Proven work experience in software quality assurance
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
Report and track bugs using programs like JIRA
Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Experience in linux command line programs and scripting (bash, python)
Good working knowledge of server based linux operating systemNice to have:

Virtualization experience with KVM / QEMU
Understanding of storage (iSCSI, SAN, NAS)
