We are currently working with a Banking client who are hiring for an IT Project Manager who will lead projects within Compliance IT.

This role will be to work pro-actively lead the agile team and support efforts to self-manage; removing blockers, and helping the team follow and improve their practices to achieve efficient and effective delivery. This role will also be to support the Programme Manager in pro-actively delivering compliance of new services to IT service acceptance standards, GCP (google cloud platform) setup requirements and documentation of best practises and ways of working on these deliverables. The role will also support change delivery governance and adherence to transformation delivery standards.

What you will be doing;

Facilitating the team to self-organise, enabling continuous improvement of change and run activities, aligned to the product roadmap and customer expectations.
Ensure assigned new service development projects and work streams successfully pass into production service acceptance.
Constantly works with the Product Owner and Business Analyst to re-prioritise the backlog as and when there are changes in scope or bugs arise or any issues surface.
Generates and tracks team level metrics and creates visual controls/radiators for them. Communicates these metrics to stakeholders
Ensure all new service developments adhere to all IT service acceptance standards (inclusive of CyberSec and Non-Functional Requirements) and all tasks, documents and evidence requirements are met to support delivery.
Create guidance documentation and best practise guides to ensure that future new service acceptance projects and work streams are able to follow a standard model and as such deliver efficiently and quickly.
Proactively work to engage with relevant stakeholders and teams to identify and define processes, procedures and compliance standards.
Create and manage relevant delivery plans across work streams and projects to maximise delivery efficiencies and reduce blocking dependencies to ultimate outcome delivery.

Support project financial management.

What you will bring to the role;

To be successful in this role you should have proven experience within the Technology sector with knowledge of the following skills:

Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Proactive leadership skills – able to take a high-level goal and define the path of work and tasks needed to achieve that outcome.
Experienced IT PM.
Experience of taking new applications and technical developments through IT service acceptance (inclusive of CyberSec and Non-Functional Requirements) frameworks.

Experience of green field IT application development and delivery into service / BAU / production.
Experience of senior level project reporting and stakeholder management.
Experience of working in an Agile environment.
Desirable – Google Cloud Platform experience
Prior Banking experience
