The opportunity:

At Leonardo, as we grow the Digital and IT PMO team we have a fantastic new opportunity for a PMO Analyst, to support activities and assure the portfolio of change within a growing IT organisation. You will need experience in working in a PMO team with the flexibility to carry out varied tasks across the portfolio. This role will also give opportunities to progress, providing training where needed.

The role is hybrid with the normal onsite place of work being our Bristol office (or negotiable to some other Leonardo sites), so we can work as a team when required. Some travel to other UK sites may also be required occasionally.

What you'll do as a PMO Analyst:
Providing practical advice, guidance and quality assurance across all projects within the IT portfolio, ensuring that the project management methodology is adhered too
Supporting and facilitating resource meetings, and relevant portfolio governance forums
Supporting project managers in delivering projects, using the in-house project management tools following industry defined methodologies
Prioritisation of workload and effective communication of appropriate issues and escalations
Documenting IT Risks, Issues and Action items
Proposing, investigating and driving opportunities for process improvement within the IT organisation
Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and other support teams in order to deliver an integrated service
Collecting and analysing information, summarising findings to manage development progress in a collaborative manner What we need from you:

You really must have:
Previous experience of working within a PMO team
Exposure to and understanding of the full project life cycle (Waterfall & Agile Methodologies knowledge)
Demonstrable attention to detail, thoroughness and commitment to quality and accountability of own output
Excellent communication skills – Ability to communicate information clearly, define needs and provide feedback in an timely and appropriate mannerIt would be nice if you had :
Experience with implementing process improvement practices
Experience with Jira
APMP or PRINCE 2 certification is desirable Security Clearance
