Hays' client is a public sector organisation who are seeking a highly technical network consultant who's a highly technical engineer and has design and architecture experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructures across multiple sites.

Required skills and responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage a complex network infrastructure spanning across multiple sites with diverse geographical locations
Work with a range of technologies from legacy to bleeding-edge
Plan and execute significant network refreshes at two large sites
Facilitate the transition to a new supplier responsible for a nationwide network
Handle network hardware including but not limited to:
Aruba networking hardware
Fortinet, and Juniper firewalls
ACDP or ACDX certification, or equivalent level
The client would consider a candidate with Cisco experience who is CCNP or CCIE level
