High-impact role with real ownership

Dublin 2 Location – 2 days/week in the office

€75000-€80000/Year

Your Role & Experience:

First point of contact for identifying, prioritising and resolving Red Hat Linux incident in both production and non-production environments.

Supporting and maintaining Red Hat Linux environments, to ensure 24×7 availability.

Deploying, supporting and troubleshooting issues with RHEL systems on premise and in Microsoft Azure

Maintaining a good understanding of the VMware platform to troubleshoot server issues effectively.

Administering RedHat Enterprise Linux 7, 8 and 9 OS installs, patching & troubleshooting

Hosting and supporting SAP instances in a Red Hat Linux environment and assisting the SAP Application team as required

Hosting and supporting DB2 and Oracle Databases

Administering Red Hat Linux Satellite Server

Software implementation, trouble-shooting and application management for RedHat Linux

Adhering to best practice in relation to Cyber initiatives/improvements.

Implementing high-availability and disaster recovery in relation to Red Hat Linux configurations

Automating and administering RedHat Sys Admin tasks using Ansible/Puppet, Python, and/or Bash Shell scripting

Support of Linux networking, routing technologies

Manage small/medium projects/work activities or sections of larger projects and interact with stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met

8+ Years relevant experience

Red hat Enterprise Linux or other relevant IT Industry accreditations

Familiarity with administrating Ansible Automation Platform

Knowledge of OpenShift – Kubernetes, podman-containers
