Job Title: Lead Developer
Location: London
Salary: £75-85k

THE ROLE:

Joining their dynamic team, you'll take the helm and collaborate within a diverse, multi-disciplinary group alongside seasoned Architects and Technical Delivery Managers.
Engage directly with our clients, playing a pivotal role in conceptualising and executing all facets of our software solutions.
Drive the implementation of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices and engineering excellence throughout project lifecycles. Provide leadership in structuring and ensuring technical quality within your team's work, advising on architecture and design patterns to uphold software integrity and meet non-functional requirements.
Offer guidance in developing strategies, frameworks, and standards as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Possess a minimum of 5 years' commercial development experience, utilizing leading frameworks and languages such as Django/Python, Java, Node, or .Net.
Demonstrate proficiency and eagerness to be a hands-on full-stack developer, setting the standard for software engineering best practices within technical teams.
Familiarity with software engineering best practices including design patterns, micro-service architectures, secure by design principles, and NCSC Cloud Security Principles.
Experience in employing DevOps, CI/CD, and test automation methodologies. Hands-on experience with cloud-native
Software as a Service (SaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS), preferably in Azure.
Proficiency in database design and implementation, encompassing SQL and NoSQL.
Capable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, adept at prioritising tasks and managing conflicting deadlines.
Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all endeavours.
