A fantastic opportunity to join a leading and award winning /professional services business located in West Sussex as a Junior Systems Developer.
The role is assisting with the development, implementation and in-life support of the company IT Applications/systems supporting the company groups and legal operations.
You will work closely with a Senior Systems Developer to learn the systems and databases.
Duties to include; running web based applications, the development of the company database and systems that are all run on PLSQL, integrations of API’s, some basic frond end coding and coding in C#/.Net on the back end of the system.
You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects, provide reports, tidy up workflows and answer and solve problems around the database and systems as they come in through the business.

Please note, this role offers hybrid working of minimum two days a week in the office and three days working from home. You may be required to attend the office more in the first few months for training.

Skills/experience/attributes:
* Around one year experience as either a Systems or Database Developer
* Strong experience of SQL is essential
* Experience of writing queries in PLSQL
* Experience of working within a professional services/business environment is essential
* Any knowledge/experience of coding languages such as C#/.Net/Javascript
* Experience or knowledge of HTML/CSS
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* High attention to detail
* Loves to learn and a fast learner
* Enjoys working as part of team but also has the ability to take accountability for own work
* Outstanding communication skills verbally and written
* Ability to communicate with people at all levels
