Job Description

Job role: Junior Project Manager

Location: Gateshead
​Salary: £25,000

The Junior Project Manager will assist in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This role will work under the guidance of Head of Technical Operations and will coordinate third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan.

Requirements

Education

* Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience

* Previous experience in a project coordination or support role is preferred.

* Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.

* Previous ordering and supplier management preferred.

Technical Skills

* Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).

* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Soft Skills

* Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

* Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.

Flexibility

* You may be required to work overtime when necessary due to customer requirements.

* You may be required to work in a different department to back fill engineers.

Travel

* Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK maybe required.

Preferred Qualifications

* Certification in project management (e.g., APM, Prince 2, CAPM, PMP) is a plus.

* Experience in MSP industry or type of projects.

* Basic understanding of budgeting and financial reporting.
