Junior Project Manager – Nuclear – Security Clearance – Prince2 – Oxfordshire – 2 Stage Interview – Hybrid working

Yolk Recruitment are working with a leading consultancy who are in the need of a Junior Project Manager to join a growing team in the project services division. Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of nuclear projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays, implementing corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
Support the implementation of safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to achieve project objectives.
Assist in the evaluation of subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met.

Requirements:

A relevant qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
1-2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the nuclear industry.
Familiarity with ECNI (Engineering, Construction, Nuclear Installation) processes and regulations.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the nuclear industry is preferred.
PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
