Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development and enhancement of firmware and other software projects.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with senior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code and adherence to best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to users and community members.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by users, ranging from simple configuration problems to more complex software bugs.
Document solutions and contribute to the community knowledge base.
Engage with the open-source community through forums and social media.
Contribute to community discussions, offering insights and recommendations for software improvements.

Experience and Skills Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
Experience in programming with languages such as C, C++, Python, or Rust.
Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Passion for technology and a desire to make a positive impact in the tech community.
Basic understanding of hardware, firmware, and low-level software interactions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to tackle challenges head-on and independently find solutions to problems.
A team player with strong collaboration skills.
Comfortable working in an office that has a dog.
Car driver due to remote location of office.
