* In-depth knowledge of Core Java, the JVM, and garbage collection optimization techniques.

* Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools to ensure smooth operation.

* A plus: experience with low-latency libraries (e.g., JCStress, FasterXML Jackson) and familiarity with financial markets, particularly digital assets.

Bonus points if you have:

* Experience with e-trading messaging protocols and real-time market data feeds.

* Knowledge of time-series databases commonly used in financial markets.
