Our client is a North East success story who have grown to be a leading provider of Building Services. They are currently looking for a Senior IT Technician to join their team based in Gateshead on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is multi-disciplined in IT Technologies or has an appetite to learn all disciplines. It will provide the successful candidate essential experience of ICT operations in a business, gaining hands-on experience managing and supporting all aspects of IT solutions. You will establish a strong and close relationship with the IT Director to support IT services across the organisation.

The Senior IT Technician Role
As Senior IT Technician, you will be responsible for all daily operational ICT operations across two sites.
Other duties include:
* Leading the implementation of all future ICT Projects.
* Ensuring all systems are ready for use and operating correctly
* Setting up laptops, mobile devices, display equipment and other specialist ICT equipment.
* Ensuring all technical incidents are recorded in conjunction with the incident management procedure.
About the successful Senior IT Technician
The successful Senior IT Technician will have strong problem-solving skills with a positive attitude towards work and an appetite for knowledge and improving your skills set. You will be an enthusiastic and flexible individual.
The successful Senior IT Technician will have a technical understanding of some or all of the following:
* Microsoft Office, Virtualised Environments, SharePoint, Windows Server
* End Point Protection, Active Directory, Networking Principles
