Position: IT Technician – Manufacturing

Salary: £30,000 per annum

Job Type: This is a fixed term contact (12 months)

We are looking for a IT Technician to join our Glasgow based manufacturing client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support with expertise in Active Directory, Azure, Remote Desktop Services, VMWare, VLANs, and SQL.

Responsibilities:

Administration of the IT requirements on site
Support the installation, support, and security of the network and IT system hardware infrastructure
Provide internal management of the company's Active Directory and email systems
Identify the needs of users, provide expertise, and ensure follow up
Provide technical support and user assistance
Participate in the maintenance of internal business tools in collaboration with end users
Communicate and update staff on all IT issues
Set up new starters with laptops and access to IT systems You must have:

Proven experience working in IT support roles
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
