IT Technician

Gateshead

Full time – Monday to Friday 8:45 till 5

Permanent – £24,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever expanding international business at their Gateshead site.

The ideal candidate will report to the Senior IT Technician and provide both 1st and 2nd line support to staff internally and externally.

Responsibilities:

* To provide technical support of IT hardware to users both on and off site

* To respond to enquiries and be proactive in problem solving

* To solve connectivity issues

* Assisting with upgrade and roll out of new user equipment

* Helping with configuration

* Be willing to train and upskill

* Be able to work comfortably in a warehouse and manufacturing environment

Key Skills:

* Microsoft qualifications would be beneficial

* Microsoft Windows 10/11 experience

* M365 SharePoint Experience

* Previous experience in IT support would be beneficial

* Ideally CompTIA/MCP Qualified

* Experience trouble shooting on printers
