We're working with a business consultancy based in Glasgow city centre to recruit an Internal IT Support professional. This is a fully onsite role, perfect for someone looking to work closely with teams across the business and deliver hands-on support.

IT Support Technician
Glasgow City Centre (Onsite)
£25,000 – £28,000

The Role

As the Internal IT Support, you'll be responsible for providing day-to-day technical assistance to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure. You'll manage user accounts, provide system updates, and ensure the smooth running of all IT operations within the office.

Main Duties:

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
Manage user accounts and permissions (Active Directory)
Perform system updates and software installations
Monitor and maintain network performance and security
Set up and configure new equipment (PCs, printers, etc.)
Ensure backup and recovery processes are followed
Provide technical support to employees across departments
Manage antivirus and security protocolsTech Requirements:

Microsoft Office 365
Windows 10/11
Active Directory
Basic networking (LAN/WAN)
Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, printers, etc.)
Software installations and updates
Backup and recovery solutions
