IT Support Technician

Canterbury (Kent)

3 Month Contract

£180/day (Inside IR35)

IT Support Technician needed to provide day-to-day technical support for a School based in Canterbury (Kent).

DBS certificate (Enhanced Disclosure) and previous Schools IT support experience preferred. Start by 22 July 2024 (or as close as this date as possible).

Key experience + tasks will include:

Providing IT support for desktop PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, scanners, projectors, interactive screens + A/V equipment.

Supporting Windows, Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace based technical environments.

Working as the sole IT Technician on site with the support of a broader team of 6 other IT Engineers. 

Trouble-shooting, diagnosis, problem resolution + fixes.

Assisting with Server and IT Infrastructure related issues and escalating to 3rd parties when necessary.

Soft Skills: customer interaction, time management, prioritisation, organised, problem solving, initiative.

ServiceNow experience is advantageous but not essential.

Working Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm (Monday-Friday)
