Due to an increased workload and a further need to support their ever-growing amount of customer sites they're taking on, our client are now seeking an IT Support Engineer to support with these systems.
This role will be mainly office based with some remote working available, so candidates residing in the Manchester Area are preferred. You will be working on a ROTA covering the night shift from the office. This desk runs 24/7 and you will work with the team to build your skill to support the rota within 6 weeks of joining.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Carrying out of daily tasks, doing morning checks, ensuring that the business systems are available.
Helping to resolve and diagnose any technical issues.
Responding to all tickets within your set SLAs.
Log all tasks within the help desk system. Experience:
Experience working with Windows 7/10
Working with Ubuntu/Linux
AWS/Heroku Cloud experience
Understanding the key aspects of networking.
Good knowledge of MS Office packages.
