IT Support Engineer / IT Support Analyst / Desktop Support Analyst / Desktop Engineer / 2nd Line Support / 2nd Line Engineer Central London 6 Months Full Time Contract Starting ASAP
Mainly 2nd line support plus some 1st line and 3rd line, desktop support plus some infrastructure support. Looking for an all rounder to support at all level, take tickets from start to finish and enjoys being hands-on and troubleshooting.
Our client is a well known luxury retailer based in central London with 600+ employees and operations across US, Europe and Asia.
They are looking for an IT support analyst, ideally an all-rounder covering from 1st line, 2nd line to 3rd line to join their dynamic and friendly London IT team and you will support their European head offices and stores end users, manage vendor relationship, ensure IT services delivery and participate in new IT solutions roll out projects.
-Providing technical support and troubleshooting for Windows servers, iPhone/Android, Active Directory, Office 365, Mac/ Mac OSX server, SCCM, network/wireless, VMware/Horizon View/VDI, VOIP, EPOS to internal business users;
-Mobile Device Management for client/user management (Intune);
-Running Powershell Scripting;
-Analysing issues, following up with customers and helping resolving problems and finding root cause within SLA;
-Building good relationship with 3rd party software/hardware vendors;
-Working on infrastructure project work such as introducing new technologies, rolling out software/hardware, wireless/network setting up
Our client has a number of exciting IT projects such as office relocation, improving their BI reporting, ERP, VMware Horizon View, e-commerce and store/EPOS systems.
-Mainly working as 2nd line support or strong 1st/2nd line support, ideally supporting/supported at all levels 1st/2nd/3rd line;
-Strong working knowledge in both Windows server and Mac OS/Mac OS X server;
-Experience in MDM such as Intune or Airwatch;
-Experience in supporting VMware or Horizon View is a big plus;
-Experience in Powershell scripts is a plus;
-Previous retail or store or EPOS support experience is a plus;
-Strong communication skills
This contract starts with 6 months full time and is likely to extend, office based and offering £230 to £290 per day depending on experience.
Please note that:
-This is mainly office based position (Covid friendly office in Mayfair with very limited remote working);
-Contract is inside IR35 via an umbrella company;
-Mainly Monday to Friday with normal business hours, once a month working on Saturday (still 5 days a week and you will get a week day off instead)
