Job Description

The role – IT Support Analyst.

The salary – £32,000 – £37,000

The location – Livingston (this role is fully on-site, regular hybrid or remote working is not available).

We're working with a fantastic organisation looking to add an IT Support Analyst to their team, with the intention that they will grow within the role and take over the responsibilities as the on-site IT Manager. The purpose of the role is to support internal users ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely manner while keeping key stakeholders up to date with weekly IT updates.

This role is perfect for someone with IT management or team lead experience looking to take on key responsibilities within an organisation, or someone with great technical experience who is comfortable working independently and are looking to take the next step in their career.

Your day-to-day:

Be the primary point of contact for IT infrastructure support issues, primarily on-site but also remotely where needed to remote sites in Europe.
Ensure the business is supported by efficient and effective IT services.
Deliver IT projects through all parts of the project life cycle to upgrade and deploy new software and hardware to the organisation.
Co-ordinate the helpdesk system in conjunction with our third party service desk provider.
Support of standard applications including Microsoft Office 365, Exchange and Outlook.
Setup & maintenance of user profiles.
Purchase, configure and support of PC's, laptops, printers, mobile phones & other key peripherals.
Prepare the annual IT budget for review and agreement with the Financial Director and Head of IT.
Submit requests for asset replacement or new requirements where needed.
Documentation of processes with a focus on problematic areas.
Prepare induction materials and deliver face-to-face inductions for local users as needed.About you:

You'll have a track record of managing IT infrastructure on-site and remotely.
Experience working in a help-desk environment.
Experience managing third party providers to deliver to expected SLA's and obligations.
Experience managing business telephony and network equipment and services.
Experience managing IT projects including software and hardware upgrades and deployments through all parts of the project life cycle.
Ability to work unsupervised and interact with people across multiple sites.Benefits:
