We here at Siamo Recruitment are working with a leader in IT based in Cirencester. A client who offer Network, Cloud, Security and a DMSP. Thriving for over 20 years our clients passionate IT Service Desk are expanding, creating an exciting new vacancy for a Service Desk Advisor.

As the Service Desk Advisor you will become the face of the business actively building rapport with customers and resolving their queries.
Due to our clients customer base this role holds the working pattern of Wednesday – Sunday 11:30am – 20:00pm or 13:30pm – 22:00pm.

This IT Service Desk Advisor opportunity will have the below responsibilities:
First line queries on a ‘one call’ basis such as password and system resets, hardware related faults and queries, desktop and app support and new user profile creation.
In addition, the successful candidate will assist with some 2nd line queries, escalating these where necessary.
New equipment & peripheral installation
Conducting software & data backups
Report writing
Managing cases via the NetSuite ERP Platform
Utilising skills and knowledge to assist customers with case resolution & monitoring case escalations
Meeting set KPI’s
Reporting and liaising with resellers and their end users
The ideal candidate for this IT Service Desk Advisor will have:
Proven IT support experience gained in a similar role
An understanding of Windows desktop operating systems and applications
Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems, Active Directory & Group Policies and Networking technologies would be beneficial but not essential at this stage
Excellent communication skills internally and externally with clientele
Naturally collaborative and enthusiastic
Passionate on building rapport with customers
Passionate about IT, Hardware, Software etc
