Job Description

The company is a well-established leader in intelligent automation solutions for production and logistics. Headquartered in Austria, the company has a global outreach enabling you to explore exciting growth opportunities within the organisation.

As IT Project Manager your main responsibility in the project is delivering the company's software. You'll work with various stakeholders to prepare software solution concept and phasing into the project at the general Kick-off, overseeing the implementation of the solution from design and implementation through testing and delivery.

Responsibilities:

Customer communication
Review of the technical functional specifications by all involved departments.
Active solution management for SW matters
Create internal documents for project-executing departments
Coordinate test plans (factory tests, internal and customer-specific acceptance tests)
Coordination of, and participation in, engineering meetings (with mechanical engineer, hardware engineer, electrics engineer, software engineer)
Support of project-implementing departments (SW engineering, development, software quality assurance, commissioning) and (global) Project Management
Ensuring continuous updating of customer specific SW-documents.
Coordinate customer projects with software suppliers (company's internal and 3rd party external)
Owner of SW project overall schedule (including SW-time schedules)
Change Request handling throughout the whole project life cycle and identification of potential deviations to original project scope
Authority to issue directives to the SW project team in all SW related topics
Lessons learned triggered by SW content Owner for software related topics together with (pre-) salesRequirements:

In depth project and team management skills.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Excellent understanding and planning of end-to-end project lifecycle delivery.
Good understanding of warehouse operations.
Good understanding of WMS software
Computer skills (MS Office, the company's-internal tools)
