Title: IT Infrastructure Procurement Specialist Needed for Public Sector Contract in London

Our client, a public sector organization based in London is currently seeking an experienced IT infrastructure procurement specialist to join their team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for writing and validating ITTs while ensuring that architectural requirements are met.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
– Proven track record of success as an infrastructure procurement specialist
– Experience with both hardware and software acquisition processes

Skills:

Procurement Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

* Ability to identify cost saving opportunities without compromising quality.
* Demonstrable knowledge of supplier management techniques including negotiation strategies, vendor selection criteria etc.

IT Knowledge/Skills:
In addition, they must have expertise across some (or all) these areas:

* Understanding of IT Infrastructure
*Knowledge of networking
