Role: IT Manager
Location: Walsall
Salary: Up to £50,000

Our client is an award-winning manufacturer who are looking for an IT Manager to join their expanding team. The role is on site Monday – Friday. They are looking for someone with previous experience within a similar role, someone who has strong organizational skills as well as being self-motivated, has great communication skills and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity to step in to a position where you solely manage the infrastructure and over time build a team.

Role Overview:

As the IT Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and security across all digital systems. You will play a key role in leading IT projects, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing technology solutions that enhance business efficiency.

Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day management of IT systems, networks, and servers
* Lead IT projects (infrastructure, deployment of new IT systems)
* Provide leadership in all aspects of IT delivery and IT strategy
* Maintain security of data, backup systems and network access
* Monitor IT assets
* Manage annual IT budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness
* Responsibility of IT requirements across the company
* Provide technical support and training to staff across multiple departments
* Maintain working relationships with external vendors
