IT Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our client on an initial 6 month contract. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, designing, and optimising our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Networks, Citrix, VMware, and Data Centre Management.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure connectivity, performance, and security.
Manage and support Citrix environments, including XenApp and XenDesktop.
Administer VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere and vCenter.
Oversee data centre operations, including hardware installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement infrastructure improvements.
Monitor system performance and conduct regular assessments to ensure reliability and efficiency.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for infrastructure-related issues
