IT Helpdesk Support
Farnborough
Up to £45,000 + benefits
RPS are currently working in conjunction with a global aerospace manufacturer who are looking for IT Helpdesk Support to join them in on their Farnborough site.
Key Responsibilities
* Servicedesk support for hardware and software
* 2nd level support and troubleshooting on backend systems
* 3rd level support for systems where skillset permits (VMWare, Active Directory Management, SCCM)
* End-user training and new user inductions
* Daily data centre operations
* Installing systems and software
* Performance statistics generation
* Liaising with suppliers and end-users for equipment purchasing
* Permissions management through AD Groups and Role Based Access Controls
* 3rd line cover for office absences
Skills and Experience
Ideally the candidate would have minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Essential
* In depth knowledge of current client Windows operating systems
* Basic knowledge of current server Windows operating systems
* Current Microsoft Office products
* Windows Active Directory for administration of AD Security groups and AD User / Computer account management
* Technical problem-solving skills
* Technical documentation upkeep
* ITSM asset management
* Desirable
* Knowledge telephony systems administration
* Azure basic administration
* Virtual server management
