IT Field Engineer – (IT, Field, DNS, DHCP, Networking, TCP/IP, AD, Active Directory, Windows, Customer Services, O365) – Permanent – Milton Keynes + Travel
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for an IT Field Engineer on a permanent basis for our prestigious client based in the Milton Keynes area. This role is a field based role so there will regular travel to other sites.
Location: Milton Keynes + Travel
Salary: up to £38,000 per annum plus expenses
Skills/Requirements for the IT Field Engineer:
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Strong customer facing skills
* Active Directory support
* Experience of networking using DNS, DHCP and TCP/IP
* Ideally LAN/WAN experience as well
* Strong experience working with iOS and Android tablets and phones
* Experience of PC and Laptop Building
* Any O365 is highly desirable
Start date is ASAP
The IT Field Engineer will be responsible for:
* Providing direct Face-to-Face on a daily basis
* Setting up and troubleshooting Multi Factor Authentication
* Setting up and managing network printers, in addition to building PC’s and Laptops
* Identifying potential escalations and proactively alerting management as needed
* Collaborating with other IT teams as appropriate to ensure problem resolution is obtained and, if necessary, identifying the root cause
* Recommending and/or performing upgrades on systems
* Completing documentation in a timely manner
* Providing and running training on new systems to end users
* Ensuring configuration and inventory management database entries are complete and accurate
