Job Title: Internal IT Engineer
Department: Group IT
Location: London / Cardiff offices (Hybrid)
Working with: Head of Group IT

CPS is supporting a UK-wide MSP in hiring an IT Manager to their IT Function. This role is pivotal to delivering, maintaining, and supporting the internal IT infrastructure.

The main purpose of the role is to provide 1st and 2nd line support to the business through end user support, whilst also supporting the on-going maintenance and improvement of systems. There will also be opportunities to be involved in delivering digital transformation projects across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work as part of a fast paced and vibrant team, interacting with internal end users requiring support.
* (1st and 2nd Line Support), quickly analysing the nature of queries and customer problems and provide suitable solutions within service level agreements.
* Establishing and maintaining high levels of incident ownership throughout the incident lifecycle, bringing the Incident to a satisfactory conclusion, applying appropriate escalations procedures if required.

Essential:

* Proven track record in resolving IT related issues.
* Experience supporting Microsoft Desktop (Windows 10, 11, Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams).
* Understands the fundamentals of Cyber Security and application of policies.
* Experience with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Microsoft
* Experience supporting hardware (Laptops, Printers, Monitors, Routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points etc).
* Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Defender for O365 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.

Nice to have:

* Experience managing SaaS based applications, including their integrations.
* Experience Supporting Microsoft Server.
* Experience working with threat and vulnerability management technologies.
