IT Engineer

Nottingham

£40,000 to £45,000 + Great Benefits Package

Excellent opportunity for an IT Support Engineer with experience of computer networks and systems maintenance to join one of the largest manufacturers in the Midlands, in a stable, varied, and interesting role.

This company are market leaders across several fields and with that are financially strong and stable. They are going through huge growth, and are looking for a Systems Administrator with IT Support skills to join their team.

In this varied role, you will provide IT technical support through the design, implementation and administration of the company's computer network systems and offer general IT support to users. This is a site-based role in Nottingham. You will provide support as the only IT Engineer on site.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in IT Support and Systems Administrator roles. Any experience working for a manufacturing or engineering company is beneficial.

The Role:

*Site based in Nottingham, Monday to Friday (flexibility in working hours is desirable)

*The only IT Support Engineer on site, varied role working on your own

*Installing and configuring devices

*Diagnosing and trouble-shooting problems

*Control access to and keeping the network running smoothly

*General IT Support
*Systems maintenance

The Person:

*IT Support Engineer or Systems Administrator experience

*Experience of computer networks and systems maintenance

*Experience of hardware fault diagnosis & repair

*Experience of software installation and troubleshooting

*Experience of server management (Windows server OS)

*Experience of VMware management, LAN Networking, Backup technologies (Veeam preferred)
