Job Title: IT Desktop Support Specialist

Location: Reading, Berkshire – RG30 2BA

Trust: Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Shift Patterns: This role offers flexibility of 100% remote work from Monday to Friday either 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Pay Rate: £17.69/Hr.

JOB SUMMARY:

Seeking IT Support Specialist with expertise in Desktop and Server infrastructures, including LAN hardware/software and VPN. Requires IT Support Desk experience, Microsoft Certification, and European Computer Driving License or equivalent level of knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide technical support for desktop and server infrastructures.

* Maintain LAN hardware/software and configure VPN connections.

* Resolve IT support tickets promptly.

* Collaborate with team on complex issues.

* Proactively address IT issues and assist with Office 365.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

* IT Support Desk experience.

* European Computer Driving License or equivalent level of knowledge.

* LAN hardware/software expertise.

* VPN configuration proficiency.

* Ability to excel under pressure.

* Strong prioritization skills.

* Proactive problem-solving.

* Familiarity with Office 365.

This role may require you to show evidence Diploma or ECDL or at least 2 years relevant experience.
