IT Business Analyst

Salary: £48,000 – £52,000

Location: West Midlands (Hybrid – 1 to 2 days a week in the office) + Occasional monthly travel to Aylesbury which is expensed for

Business Analysis / Gathering Requirements / Process improvement / Retail / Supply Chain / Logistics

This role is working for a multi-national organisation in the retail sector, joining their Supply Chain & Logistics department to work on a range of exciting projects, acting as the lead BA within the team and having a strong impact on the department. The hiring manager is looking for a BA who has experience working on Process Improvement projects whilst demonstrating the core skills of Gathering Requirements, AS-IS & TO-BE, creating user stories etc. 

I'm looking to speak and meet with individuals who have demonstrable experience working as a Business Analyst on a range of IT projects and possess the capabilities needed to be successful in this role. Personality is a crucial factor to this role and I'm looking for individuals who have excellent communication skills and an enthusiastic nature.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Writing clear requirements that can be easily translated into technical requirements
Clear and precise process maps that provide a thorough understanding of mapped processes
Preparing business analysis documentation
Supporting in testing and execution
Liasing with stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders of varying technical understanding

Experience required:

3+ years experience as a Business Analyst
Experience working within the Retail, Logistics or Supply Chain sectors preferable but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
